Microsoft buying Actiblizz, declaring they’ve surpassed 3 TRILLION DOLLARS in market value as a company, and then laying off 1900 devs and other little-guy positions is making me want to commit unspeakable acts

#and guess what lol - despite Overwatch 2 somehow apparently bringing in $225 MILLION this year - they laid off OW devs :’)#and apparently they were people who were ‘vital to the creative aspect of the Overwatch universe’#man can’t believe I dared to actually hope shit might get better with Bobby Dickhead out of office #MS doesn’t give a shit about creativity or creating or building on a huge & interesting established world #god it’s so heartbreaking to watch something you love be torn to pieces and picked clean for every last dollar in it #I’d almost rather they just exploded all at once like Telltale or Luminous
